We do not sell your personal data to third parties. All third-party processors are required to handle your data in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and private keys.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion

6.1 Retention Period

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil its intended purposes, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Transaction records and identity verification data are retained for a minimum of five (5) years to meet AML/CTF regulatory requirements.

6.2 Account Deletion

Users can permanently delete their account directly within the GaiaEx mobile application at any time, or by submitting a request to [email protected].

To delete your account through the app:

  1. Open the GaiaEx app.
  2. Navigate to the GaiaEx Service page.
  3. Tap Account Info.
  4. Tap Security.
  5. Tap Delete Account.
  6. Review and acknowledge all risk warnings.
  7. Confirm deletion to permanently remove your account.

Important Notes:

  • All assets, open orders, and positions must be cleared before deletion can proceed.
  • Once deleted, the account cannot be restored or reused.
  • Certain transaction records and identity verification data may be retained after account deletion to satisfy AML/CTF regulatory obligations (minimum 5 years).
  • Blockchain wallet access outside the GaiaEx app is unaffected by account deletion.

7. User Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, as well as withdraw consent for data processing at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact us at [email protected].

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance user experience, analyse Platform usage, and support security functions. Users can manage or disable cookies through their browser or device settings; however, doing so may affect certain Platform functionality.

Where such transfers occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

GaiaEx is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a person under 18, we will take immediate steps to delete such data.
